Does anyone have any info on this? is the fj door the same as the 4r?

I like this but not sure if it could be modded to work, should work if the door OD is the same...

I'm gong to go with, no, it won't fit. If it did, AMI and other companies would love to catalog their product to fit in order to acquire additional sales. The 5th gen has been out long enough for r&d to determine fitment. This just means that it is not a simple bolt on product. You may be able to retrofit it cleanly. But that would all depend on your skills and how deep your pockets are if you make a mistake.
