AMP Research retractable step install wiring help

Installing the AMP retractable steps on my 2021 SR5P. Got everything mounted up after a long day. Working on the wiring. Wondering if anyone has done this before? Having trouble locating the trigger wires. There are a lot of red and black wires in the harness on the passenger side. It is a negative trigger wire.

Was wondering if anything changed on the 20-21 model year. I am going to contact AMP tomorrow.

Any help would be appreciated.

Install of the actual running boards wasn't bad. Directions aren't great. Took me a little bit to figure out the orientation of the mounting blocks. Had to flip the front ones from my original thinking.

Wiring was a pain to do. Spent more time trying to figure this out. AMP was helpful but still had a lot of issues tracing the correct wires down. Also, was getting tired of poking around a brand new harness. I talked to a friend at a install shop. He recommended going right to the door switch. Tapped into the that wire. Had to take a couple of panels off, but huge difference. Had it working in no time. Well worth the extra few minutes to remove the B pillar trim and floor trim on the rear doors.

Put these on over the weekend. Directions suck, period. They have the wrong wire codes, best bet is tap the door switch wires. Amp could not even tell me wire color, just said all 4runners are different, big help, not.
