Amsteel Blue still good?

Question for you experienced winchers - is this amsteel blue still good, or should it be replaced? I have only used it once (tree stump removal), and I was surprised to see the degree of deformation, mostly in the wraps on the first layer. I expected flattening of the rope, but not to this degree. It looks to be heat-damaged to me.
What do you think?

Mine has flattened like that, frayed, and faded. It has a bunch of pulls on it and it even cut through once , I just tied it back together. I say don't worry about it...

Thanks for the input, guys!
I thought it was probably OK, because I didn't abuse it, and it has such a good reputation, but when you have more than a few thousand pounds on it, and your in line with your hand on the lever, you tend to get a bit nervous and start to second guess things.
I'll continue to use it.

Throw a blanket or line dampener over it before you winch just in case it does snap. Even if it's not steel I still wouldn't wanna be hit by it.
