I wonder how much of that is just standard SoCal stupidity and how much is because right now SoCal is at the start of the desert off-roading season and PA is at the start of, what, hibernation??
Still, anyone wanting that vehicle should fly to PA, buy it, and drive back!

:lol: possibly correct on both accounts.. although those trucks were like that in the summer too iirc. It would be so easy to get them down another couple Grand as well... Just tell them you want true car invoice pricing and that dealership has done it countless times for me.
While on the topic I remember people on a forum (maybe jalopnik) also complaining about when the Civic type r came out as well... There was about a $15k markup on it... Could you imagine $50k for a Civic!!!

My jaw dropped when I saw the sticker on this 2019 Tacoma Trd Pro.
This was at Toyota of Oxnard, CA. OTD would be over 70k!!!

Thats effing ridiculous!!:wtf: I hope that thing sits there till the 2020 comes out. You can get a raptor or any other truck for that much and the interior/technology isn't worth that price. I hope people arnt dumb enough to pay this much. People should really boycott paying the dealership uncharges. People keep paying toyota is going to see they can get more and charge more knowing its not worth the price but idiots will pay it.

When I was looking, the dealer I bought my trail from, asked me what I ultimately wanted to do with it and steered me away from the TRD Pro that they had right there on the lot. He flat out told me I could make mine better for less money which I have done. I think some dealerships are good. They actually found and got the 4runner I wanted for below msrp.

Are Land Cruisers marked up like this out in CA? I'd say that if anyone wanted a TRD Pro, save money for another year or so and get a LC. Those markups are ridiculous!

Nitrogen is used in almost all aircraft tires. Although it is a little more stable to temp changes that is not the reason. Tire pressure checks are a daily maintenance task so any loss using shop air wouldn't mean much. A couple pounds on a tire that runs 160 psi or so is negligible. The real reason is that nitrogen doesn't support combustion. So if you have a wheel fire due to hot brakes in a wheel well the air in the tire (when it fails) won't feed the fire. Save your $ and buy an air compressor!
nitrogen is a gimmick -I'd make them change it to regular air if they charged me for it - especially since the regular air is about 80% nitrogen already

This is exactly why I can't stand buying form a dealer... I know not all are gouging fools, but WTH?? Bought my "used" 2018 TRDORP with 850 miles on it for $39K......I can't imagine paying $60K+ for any 4Runner or Tacoma.....never.
on the aircraft or your vehicle? because one is terrifying and the other is potentially unsafe or at the least means you're wasting money on tires and possibly gas

On an airplane. Visual inspection and all that, but had to go back and look at the Cessna 172 checklist to make sure... not that I was always good with a checklist, but that's another story. Maybe different for those who fly an RV8.
