Hi Guys,

I have a 3rd Gen Surf 1999, exact same body and running gear as the 4runner.
Unfortunately some low life broke in the other night via my passenger window.

3rd gens were never commercially available here, so there are not many bodies lying around and Toyota are not helpful with 'grey imports'

Basically my mechanic can't find the replacement window. Does anyone know what models might have matching window panes, that might be easier to find over here?

Sorry about your break-in, thieves suck everywhere in the world. How available are Tacoma parts over there? Seems like those are all over the place and might be your best chance for compatible parts, although not sure about the windows but should be easy enough to look up.

There's no Tacoma in Australia - the Hilux is pretty much a different truck entirely than the OPs Hilux Surf. The windows might be the same, but I doubt it.

Danny, you might have to resort to importing a window from Japan or the US. You'll have to sell a testicle to get one through a parts house, but maybe you can find somebody with a used window on EBay that will ship international?

Here you go. $48. Says they ship worldwide but be sure your passenger side is the same side we call passenger side! Is yours right hand drive? If so you need a driver's window. 1996-2002 windows should fit.
