LOL thanks, it is coming along wonderfully. need to get the rear locker in and maybe a front locker with come lower T/C Gears. And this thing will be nearly unstoppable on trails that are drivable in full bodied rigs. Which means most:trophy:

I've got some 7.5 warp LC coils. Not as tall as you want but might be a great place to start. Let me know if you want to use them.
 
hmmm I'll let you know on those 7.5's if I cant find 9 wraps soon.... I'm going to pick up 315/75/16s in 2 weeks or so. But I don't want to have to cut so much just to fit them in there with the 7.5's, since they would be temporary.... you think I could clear 35's with 7.5's without much cutting?

you wont have as much rake but I really don't think the rear is an issue for rubbing as much as the front. I did very little hammering in the rear and you see how much they stuff and almost no rubbing. 9 wraps will be sweet. Yeah, the rear bumper has to go, the tires would totally rub on the bumper.
 
Ok cool, how much you want for them? I get paid thursday and I'm gonna do some searching for some 9 wraps this week so we shall see how that goes... not sure if I'll find any in Tucson but maybe PHX... if not, the search continues out of state.

Rockdawg... So you're not having any rubbing in the back wheel wells with those 315's? I was under the impression that even a 285 would not stuff under there.... maybe I thought wrong. Great looking truck. Looks super capable. Can't wait for trail pics. :hungry:

No real rubbing if I moved my bumpstops down even a half inch there would be no rubbing what so ever. This is the most capable near stock rig I have ever wheeled. Dual cases and selectable lockers and it would be nearly unstoppable

A sad sight... perfectly drivable though... roof and passenger side is mangled.

I'm just posting this for Sam lol, I told him he should chop it like mossyrocks and CUBUFF did.... hopefully he will put up some pictures... im not sure what he is gonna do.
 
Yes I cannot really express how I feel right now:uzi: first let me tell you what happened. I had let a friend borrow my runner to drive to work while he was working on his second gen. On fridaynight at 2:20am he called me to tell me that he had flopped it while night wheeling. Wheeling was NOT part of the deal and especially not night wheeling without another rig. Fortunately none of them were hurt. So I loaded up the crawler and went to pick him and the 5 others he had with him and acess the damage. I got to him about 4am and found the runner on it's passenger side about 6 feet off the trail and not just on it's side but the roof and b-pillar crushed into a huge rock. That rock prob saved at least one of their lives since it stopped them from barrel rolling down about 20 feet. I got them all out about 7am and called a friend with a fzj80 and a 12k winch to go recover it with me. With the winch, a snatch block and straps we got it back on it's tires and back on the trail. Checked the fluids and it started right up. Smoked for about 30 sec then purred. Drove it out and home. I'm sure the insurance will total it but I have to decide what to do as I do not need another dedicated crawler. So here are the pics. More to come:lasercannon:
