Another 4runner im looking at

Hey guys looking at another 4runner great condition minimal rust im nervous because the rear axle where it meets in the middle has a wet look to it. Also when driving it we went over a bump and it squeeked. She told me one accident it hit her wheel that was it so they replaced her wheel. I just don't know how much im nit picking because obviously these cars are older but at the same time I don't want one that is going to break down. ..

Correction Rear differential

That is fluid dripping/leaking from the rear diff fill plug. there is a metal gasket that the fill bolt goes in with and just probably need to replace that. easy/cheap fix.

but id still further examine that wheel accident. look for bent axles and anything else in that area. depending on what wheel, front or rear, there are things to check.

but i wouldnt worry about that fluid from the diff.
just if you do decide to buy it, id drain and fill the rear diff and replace the gasket/bolt for it.
