another code issue

So ever sinnce I have owned the truck I have had the notorious p0441 code, well recenntly I had to install another fuel pump and when I was trying to get the hose off that runs to the fuel pump on top of the tank the little plastic tube broke so I put some adhesive on it to hold it on and it seemed to work but now im getting p0440,,p0441, and p0446. So yesterday I went and bought a charcoal canister installed it and check the lines going to the canister and didn't notice any cracks but I checked my truck today aftr driving a 100 miles to reset my computer im still getting the codes. What else can I do to fiz this and do u think that tube on top of the fuel tank is the case

Without knowing exactly what the "plastic tube" does, I can certainly GUESS, sure.

Evaporative emissions specifically means that the gas tank operates, normally, under vacuum. As the car sits it will slowly return to 1 atmosphere (0 psi) due to potential increased temperature. The car runs this system under vacuum to help preserve our delicate ozone / air quality.

Ever notice the "sucking sound when you stop for gas and remove the gas cap?

When the car is started again, the egr valve, draws the gas (fumes) into the engine from the charcoal canister to be burned.

A potential, very simple fix may be to simply replace the gas cap; a major component in this normally closed vacuum system.

I have changed the gas cap once with no luck but maybe doing that and the charcoal canister may get rid of the codes, with this being said has anyone ever used a aftermarket gas cap instead of a toyota one and had any luck
