Another Damaged 4Runner.

Other driver said "I mistakenly thought the red-light was green due to the sun shining on my eyes".

Glad everyone involved is OK, but my poor, poor 4runner!:mad2:
Awaiting claim-adjuster's input on damages, other party's insurance co. admitted fault.
While driving the rig off the intersection, I did not notice any mechanical noises resulting from the collision, fingers-crossed though.

I am wanting(paying for the insurance service already) to have all parts replaced with OEM items, does anyone have an idea, ball-park of the total cost of repair?

Check your sunroof alignment. Corner impact can shift the frame easily. Im not quite sure how the body-on-frame structure integrity is but on my previous X5, it had the same impact corner. Although mine looks not as bad as yours but it was totaled. The moonroof glass popped up on one side.
GL with yours. Persist on diminished value. And the law granted you can use whichever body shop for the repair/estimate and you need to tell the body shop to use oem.

It's a guess, but would say in 6000-7500 range. I had similar damage to a 07 Rav4 that took out the AC Compressor and evaporator. I also pushed for OEM parts. It was worth the hassle as the part fits was very good and could not tell items replaced.

I had almost identical trail damage to mine about 10 days after I purchased it. Only the passenger side front though. Total bill ended up being 4500 I believe, insurance covered me. These trucks are very soft.

I feel your pain. I got T-Boned on the passenger side last summer. My poor son could not believe the colorful language I used. :yell: Total was 8K. Glad everyone is okay.

That's in the back and looks fine. I think, you mean fender. A quarter panel would knock that price way up quickly.

The rig has been towed to a local body-shop that have high online reviews and a preferred shop for a couple of Toyota dealerships.
I'll keep this thread active, hopefully enlightening anyone that needs insight.

You should go after DV....you will need a good appraiser, pm me if you want a referral.

Glad you are not hurt, except for your feelings. I had the driver's side re-arranged on my 2012 TE about a year ago, very low miles (3500), had not even changed the oil yet. I can feel your pain.

The shop does provide DV service, but having options is beneficial, PM sent.
Situation happened in Seattle, SoDo district, near CenturyLink field. A good 'ol Subaru Outback.
The first action I did, when I initially viewed the damages "WTF!!! I think I surprised everyone involved, lol.

Make sure they comp you for diminished value. A crashed vehicle shows up in Car Fax and reduces it's value.

Carfax is trash.

If the dealer repairs the vehicle and doesn't disclose it, they can.

If you use a shop/insurance that doesn't disclose, good for you.

All these bastards do is diminish the value of vehicles--because there's often no differential between a massive wreck and a cosmetic repair.

Other than obvious damages, structure that supports headlights, radiator etc. needs to be replaced.
Total cost: $6860.33

Can anyone help confirm that lateral structure/support is welded or bolt-on?

It's called the core support. Probably a combination of spot welds and bonding adhesive holding it in place.
