Another grill option?

Pardon me if this idea is already floating around out there. I'm not on here all that much.

After seeing the new Tacoma TRD Pros, I had an idea to try and retrofit it's grill, or part of it, onto the 4R's grill. My idea was to remove the center horizontal bar including the TOYOTA logo and install it on top of the current horizontal bar of the SR5 grill. I'm guessing our grills are smaller so it should be plenty long enough. Essentially, I'd use the existing 4R's horizontal part of the grill for the structure and remove the center oval Toyota emblem. This is all just an idea and I haven't been able to see one up close to see if it would actually work. I think it'd look killer though. A few pictures...

The center insert on from a Tundra may work as well...

Thoughts?

I guess if you have $300 you'd be willing to hack up and experiment with...

TRD Pro grills are expensive but it would look awesome.

I was actually planning to do this myself. Just got scared away by the cost of the TRD Pro grille I would have to hack up. Definitely tuned if you decide to proceed.
