This was a great read. I have a 98 4Runner Limited that I’m looking into manual swapping and came across a Tacoma 4x4 manual in the scrap yard.
Wondering if anyone here knows if the ECU for it (89661-04412) would work with the 4Runner wiring harness and connectors. I already took the clutch pedal assembly and master and am planning on getting the transmission tomorrow.
