Just thought I'd stop in and say hi. I just bought my first 4Runner. It's a 94 SR5 without a sunroof. One of the few in my area without one. I bought it for $5K after they were asking $7000. Man, does cash talk. I took it down to the dealer for an inspection. I figured if anyone was going to find something wrong, they would. All they came up with was a 'possible' leaking valve cover and the muffler was starting to get rusty. Not bad, I thought. They're going to change the muffler for me (lifetime warranty on it too) and I'll do the valve covers and check the valve adjustment. They quoted $371 to change the gasket. OUCH!! That hurt. Anyway, so far, I LOVE this truck.
And to think I was considering a Ford Exploder.
