Another Rear wiper question after Battery Change

Replaced the battery. Did the reset; all windows, rear wiper, radio, etc now function correctly.
When washing rear window, turning switch down, water sprays but rear wiper does not activate.

Searched and cannot find info fro this question:
I can't remember, is the rear wiper suppose to come on and do a few wipes then reset to off mode?

When you twist down it just sprays. You have to twist it up the other way for it to spray and wipe. You'd think it would come on for a few wipes and then stop like the front wipers, but when you twist down, apparently it doesn't. If it is supposed to go on, then mine's broken too.

No, when you spray it's supposed to trigger the wiper too. To reset the wiper, you have to do the 1 touch reset with the rear window. Hold the rear window button all the way down until after it goes fully down, then put it all the way up still holding the up button, that should reset the 1 touch and the wiper

Thanks 97BlackAckCL, the procedure is in the manual and frequently mentioned in the forum.
As indicated I did all the resets, with engine running, and everything functions correctly except this one feature.
Actually did resets more than once as I thought the wiper was to come on with the sprayer(which does work).
Both wipers function correctly in regular and timed sweep modes.

Did a lot of forum searching, read through the Secrets thread and User Manual , but can not find anything relating to this problem.
As I recall I used the wash function last week and it worked correctly, so the problem appears to be related to the battery pull.

Surprisingly, I did not have to reset my door lock options.

Yea, I've done this too. Still doesn't make a difference. Only wipes & washes if I twist up.

im pretty sure that's correct.

I think its so when the window is really dirty you can get some cleaner onto it, prior to the wiper hitting it.
