Currently I am running BFG AT KO's I love the way they look but I am very tired of the road noise and the hit on MPG.
I am after a factory or almost factory size
I am after a tire that: I tried to list this in order of importance
-is a quieter
-will help with a bit better MPG (currently getting 17.5 MPG)
-high wear rating would be great
-looks aggresive-ish (like I said, love the look of my current BFG)
-a good value (obviously)
I do not NEED an aggresive tire except for looking cool doing mall laps
ound:
I did all the "wheeling" and "offroading" I would ever do just fine on factory rubber. I hit an occasional dirt road.
I live in northern Utah and it would be nice to have a decent winter/rain tire
I am currently leaning toward the Pirelli Scorpion AT (read decent reviews here and else where) biggest minus is the cost
As I have been looking around I am reading that the Cooper Discoverer at/3 is pretty awesome (consumer reports A/T tire of the year on one site)
Also it sounds like the Yokohama Geolander AT/S is popular as well
Should I be throwing my "looks cool" out the window and be looking at something more LIKE the geolander HT/S?
I am certainly open to tires I havent mentioned, and possibly havent seen.
I know this kind of thread has been rehashed 100x but it seems like a lot of people are pretty knowledgeable about tires here, so thanks in advance for your help and suggestions
