Another:What is this? thread.

Guys:

Traded in the 2003 4R yesterday for a 2008. The 2008 doesn't have a cargo shelf and has 1 of these hooks on each side. If they were for netting wouldn't you have to have 4 instead of 2? I forgot to ask the sales guy what they are. Help?

Believe it or not, they're for grocery bags. Hook 'em there for the ride home. The netting hooks are closer to the liftgate, on the side trim and on the floor.

I dont think i could use those hooks for the # of bags we get on a normal grocery-trip. It says right in the manual, "do no exceed weight of 2.20 lbs", and when i have a doubled-bag with 4-5 Gatorades, it'd snap that thing right off.

I use this net-thing mine came with:

Ive never had anyting fly out of it, and its pretty well-secured with the clips it retains itself to.
