Answering Texts through Bluetooth for Galaxy S3

So I know I had mentioned in another thread about how my Nokia Lumia 920 could answer texts with voice through the Bluetooth in the 4R. Some people asked me about it regarding the S3 and I couldn't provide an answer at the time. I had to swing into the AT&T store on my way home to replace a car charger today and was talking to the rep about how that was one of my favorite features about the phone. She then mentioned how she liked it and had an S3. So I said I had some friends that were curious about this and wanted to know how it worked. And what I got was that you can do it either through S-Voice or the Google Talk app. S-Voice had something to do with the pairing of the phone (maybe make sure it pairs for voice and music) and Google Talk was similar. I can't confirm any of this because I don't have the S3 but I thought it would be worthwhile information to pass along since a bunch of other people here have it. Maybe trial and error and see if you could confirm or post a write up if you get it to work but this could be a starting point.

I have never used S-voice to date, but I'll play with this a bit on Sunday and post back what I find. May also have to do with pre-entune or entune based head units. If you run Swype or SwiftKey, it already has a dictation function, but you would still need to touch the phone to kick that off. I'll be curious if s-voice lets me do it all via voice command.

It would be nicer if I could figure out how it will read an incoming text to me ... I'd find that more useful than responding back.

Mine reads it to me then gives me the option to reply, call, or be finished. It also lets me read or ignore and tells who the sender is so if I don't care I can get to it later supposedly this is the case on the S3 too. Though like I said I can't test it. Hopefully it works for you like that.
