Antenna not working...

I don't use the radio so I have no idea when it happened but my antenna is no longer functional. The stock stereo I noticed no longer picked up stations and the same is true of the Excelon HU I just installed this past weekend.

I am wondering if anyone has experienced this and if there is a particular place I should look for a break before I start trying to trace out the route of the coax that leads to the fender. Also, maybe there is a known issue with the antennae themselves? Haven't even looked at it yet as I am out of town on business (which has afforded me the time to actually think about this).

Have your removed your antenna recently, maybe for or at a car wash or the like?

I have a 2012 Limited. I've had this happen once that I know of. I switched from SAT to FM and got nothing but static. As soon as I restarted the ignition, everything was fine.
