Anti lock brake and bigger tires

I have a 5TH Gen TE 2013 and I am going to lift a little ( spacers for now ) I want to go up from a 265/70/17 (stock size ) to a LT275/70/17 "C" rated in a Firestone Dest AT.

The tire dealer keeps insisting my Anti-lock brakes won't work properly. Hell I'm only going a tad bit bigger , it's not like Im going to 35's or something.

Any truth to that or is he blown smoke up my ...... ??

Tire dealer is an idiot. There is a small chance you may have some problems from the VSC (which uses the ABS system). You can perform the zero point calibration or have an alignment performed by a competent tire shop that uses an alignment machine that resets zero point.

Edit - if the lift is installed without removing the ABS wires from the retaining clips there is a really good chance of breaking the wires an having an ABS problem.
