Thats great. Bunk beds for the kids! No more "Are we there yet?"
:sleepy::sleepy: :driving:
Antman, just wondering, are you an engineer? Your mind seems to work like one. That's not trying to be insultive. I wish I had half the know how and guts that you have to tear into these trucks. A human body, I can cut into and fix, but a vehicle for some reason intimidates me. I may however be calling on you for some future advice. Great job on the rig.
Just awesome.
You my friend are a genius. That looks like it could be from the factory like that. VERY IMPRESSIVE and I also would like one.
Thx! You know, I still have the footboard (that's actually the first picture as I had already cut the headboard up-confession)
So... I could make another one.....:boink:
Must.Better yet move to NY and Ill take 8balls spot as your new friend and you can just do everything on my truck instead, sound good??:cheers:
So... not to be picky, but what it securing this in place? Gravity?
It's OK, we ALL know you are picky.Pretty much friction and gravity. I cut it wide on purpose so it actually bends the plastic side panels in a little, when in place. It's a very tight fit. The blocks underneath fit in the storage areas and keep it from sliding back.
It would be really easy to come up with something to secure it for you offroad guys (like some thumbwheels threaded into a hidden nut for example). I wanted it to remove easily and quickly without needing to mess with that stuff.
Must.
Fish.
Chesapeake Bay.
Whenever.
Possible.
:fishing:
Not going to NY. Sorry bud!
Ant,
I love the new signature Picture.
