LOL. Is that the best you have? Obama is a liar. I have never believed anything he said. Toyota screwed up. There are no two ways about that. Go to the Toyota website and look for yourself (the brochure is on there too). I am the first person to catch this on this board, so I think it is pretty useful information to those buying a 2014. If this board is not for useful information, what good is it?

I did some more research on cars.com looking at pics of base model SR5s and base model trails, and there are some clear pictures of the XM fin on the back of the roof. I think something is wrong with your 4runner, and I do think they do come with XM. Keep us posted.
There is no shark fin on the roof and the window sticker says SXM-Sub Req, which is exactly what the 2014 Limited says which has the XM Radio and the shark fin. By the way, the roof picture is the back of the roof toward the rear end of the car. I know where the shark fin should be because I saw it on the 2014 limited and there are pictures of it in the brochure. It is on the roof toward the back of the car. The back of the car is next to the garage door. I pulled it straight into the garage.

It's not just mine. I looked at two dealers here in San Antonio, Texas, and all the base SR5 and Trails are exactly like mine--no shark fin and no XM radio.
I could do that, but I think the fact that it does not have a shark fin and I had two Toyota service departments today confirm that there was no XM on the radio screens pretty much confirms that it does not have XM radio. I offered to buy the guy lunch if he could find it, and of course he could not because the car does not have the hardware. No way the software will show it if there is no hardware. All of them spent a lot of time going through the screens and they were sharp guys. Trust me, it is not on the car.

Can you provide a link to a base SR5 or Trail that shows a shark fin? I don't trust what the ad says. I won't believe it until I see a shark fin on a base 2014. I am sure the ad on cars.com just writes what is on the window sticker, which of course cannot be trusted as I have proved.

I hope this link works from Cars.com. It shows a base Trail with no shark fin. Look through the pictures and it shows the roof.

That's really annoying.
Don't the floor that they are trying to charge $300 for already come with it? They came in bags with my Limited it wasn't listed as an "extra."
Anyway, seeing that your vehicle was advertised as having XM is the dealer going to put it on? It's probably no sweat off their back as they may simply back-charge Toyota HQ for sending vehicles without their stated equipment.

Go back and read the text above the picture. I clearly point out where it says it and even compare it to a limited that has the same exact language. Even both service departments agreed that was correct. It says it. And don't forget the brochure shows it and so does the Toyota website.
