Any 2nd gen Tundra owners on here?

I have a 2008 double cab 5.7 4x4 Tundra with 56k on it. I was rotating the tires today and noticed I have a shock leaking on the pass side coil assembly. Should I just replace it with a oem one or upgrade both front ones to something better? I do set a little low in the front. About a 1" gain would be great but its not something that i am dieing to do to it. I have 275/70r18 (33x11.00-18)BFG KO's that don't have very much life left in them. I plan to order the new KO2's in the same size as soon as they become available. I need to fix or upgrade this and get it aligned before I put the new tires on it. I found some complete coil assembly's on eBay for $65 with 40k on them. Just not sure what my best option would be.

please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand you should always replace tires, and shocks in pairs...?

Also for front and rear shocks, I would always upgrade both at teh same time. You want a matched suspension system... not one that has different damping curves for the shocks than the rear. I know this is not a SCCA Solo2 championship car, but you want it to handle balanced. Not weird.

Maybe I didn't word that right. My tires are already about gone and have not wore the best the last few thousand miles so I want an alignment before I get my new tires. Just noticed I have the coil shock leaking. I want to fix it and get aligned before I get my tires. Thought I might get the bilstein's and level the front to the rear while I am at it which will also include needing a alignment.

A buddy has a second gen, he installed OME coils and springs and shocks and loves it.
