Any aftermarket GLASS headlamps?

All I'm finding is plastic lens versions, anybody sell glass or am I stuck paying stealership prices or looking used? I'm sure plastic is adequate but I think they will crack easily.

Yank a set off of a factory Runner. Thats the only safe way to KNOW you're getting glass. As some online companies don't specify lense material or only offer plastic.

You'll save some $$$ and you could resurface the lense for cheap. Prepping for a projector retro?

If they're indeed glass, that was a good find! I see the Q&A portion about glass.

My lens is fine but my passenger side got some moisture in it and the reflective material has peeled up along the front bottom edge.

Rockauto has some from TYC that appear to be glass. My right front is a glass TYC, it was replaced long before I got the truck.

^^^^yep, TYC are good lights. Its what Rickashay uses for his projector retrofits because they have glass lenses.

Eagle Eyes have glass lenses as well.

TYC are terrible lights but they have good glass.

I suggest you bake and swap the TYC glass onto your rig, keeping the everything but the glass.

I particular on the TYC the reflecting patern is completely inFerior and the plastic part that is for alignment is weak and breaks off easily. Just swap Z glass!

If you need new reflector housings then get certifit used lights.

I ordered a set of TYC's when I did my projector retrofit. I ended up just using the glass since the rest of the headlights were cheap POS's. I guess it's what you'd expect for $70/pr.
