Any changes for 2017 model?

Oh?! Is there a youtube video or web page with instructions? I wouldn't mind doing that to hold me over for the next few months! ;-)
Would have to search around, I haven't seen a specific write up, just members pics that have done it. It's been awhile so I can't even tell you who. I would search for it, then it nothing pops up start a new thread about it specifically. That'll get you answers!

Okay, I'll look around, thanks!

Yeah looks like a Tacoma and 4runner had a kid. I may have missed it but is this a model T4R? I like my 2015 [emoji13]

It was a 2000 Black Sr5 that a buddy of mine had that started my love of these trucks, wasn't too thrilled with look of the 06's but the first time I saw a 2015 Trail Edition, I had to have it. Almost landed a TRD Pro in black before I got my TE. At the time I could not justify the cost, but now that the Quicksand came out, I am torn between mines and a TRDP Quicksand.

My neighbor had an older (pre 4th generation) 4Runner and he loved it and that made me want to get one. I wasn't crazy over the 2004 look at the time either, but it grew on me. I love it now! I went to test drive a 4Runner and a Highlander, but after driving the 4Runner I never bothered driving the Highlander. ;-)

They released pictures of the 2017 TRD Off Road Premium on their press release page and it's clear it looks exactly the same on the outside. I'm relieved it will look the same, I've gotten use to the new look!

Yeah I think I saw this in another thread that TRD Offroad is rebranded trail edition. I like my Trail Edition even more now. I don't see as many TE's as I do SR5's and Limited models

I also read that there are not going to be many changes for the 2017 4Runner, but not sure about the pictures given here though, I kinda think these are some old ones or renderings that were made.

I hope we don't have to wait until March! I wonder how credible this is, because this has some standard features listed for the SR5 that aren't on the current SR5 as far as I know. Of course these might be for the Premium model, it doesn't specify:

"Some of the standard accessories offered for the 4Runner SR5 model include a rear privacy glass, a tilt-and-telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel, foglights, hill-start assist, skid plates, a six-way power driver seat, a windshield wiper de-icer, Bluetooth connectivity, Scout GPS Link cell phone navigation, cloth upholstery, LED taillights, a rearview camera, mud guards, roof rails, voice controls, HD and satellite radio, a 6.1” touchscreen interface, an auxiliary audio jack, keyless entry and starting, smartphone app integration, a power front passenger seat, upgraded exterior mirrors, a rear view auto-dimming mirror, an eight-speaker audio system, iPod/USB audio interface, and cruise control."

Anybody know or hear if Toyota will have automatic high beams for 2017 4Runner? Trying to decide between a 2017 Lexus GX 460 or a 2017 Toyota 4Runner. Automatic high beams are important where I live as it seems that street lights haven't been invented yet up here :P.

4Runner will not have automatic high beams.

I'm waiting for the 2021 7th gen. Which according to rumor will be fully amphibious. Also, steam powered, which will generated by a combination of solar and hydrogen technologies. Some say it will also be capable of short flight to by pass traffic jams, but I don't believe that part.

This is completely false.... It's bypass, not by pass.

no more trail edition... it's going to be TRD off road edition. that's all I've heard so far from the stealer ship
