I know I haven't been around as much as I used to be back in the day, apologies.
Something I'll throw out there from my years of wrenchin' is that non-Toyota axles are next to impossible to reboot. What I mean by that is generally the aftermarket NAPA, AutoZone, O'Reilly's, etc. axles are different enough from factory that a Toyota CV Boot kit won't fit or won't sit securely (we've run into it so consistently over the years that if it's an aftermarket axle we just quote them a new factory, factory reman, or aftermarket axle because we won't use aftermarket boot kits due to the hit and miss nature of them fitting the different shaped aftermarket axles we've seen.)
Just something to keep in mind if you're trying to decide between going for an aftermarket axle vs. a Toyota one in general. Most of the axles we see leaking we've rebooted without issues (I even have had a handful I was personally worried about, all dried out and full of volcanic dust; but once I cleaned them and installed a new boot kit, they worked great and never had the customer complain about them yet).

Also a side note, Toyota's quality on Remanufactured steering racks (in particular) has gone down quite a bit in my opinion. To the point a lot of the techs in my shop, including me, feel like we almost shouldn't offer them as an option. The reman units we're seeing look identical to the Autozone/NAPA units we've seen, like down to the same crusty paint job, zip tie boot clamps, and questionably thin lock nuts.
I'd almost say get a new factory unit, rebuild your old one yourself if you got the skills/parts, and/or maybe just go for an Autozone/Napa one since it'll be a little cheaper and basically the same thing (though I have found that those racks tend to start to leak within a year or two of use about 80% of the time...)
