Any interest in a group buy for HID projectors?

Just posting this out there to see if there's any interest. I've been looking to do a retrofit for a while and would love to make it a bit cheaper.

I went through the GB over on tacoworld a few months ago. Wish I'd bought more expensive projectors (really?) ... but otherwise I was very happy with the deal and the service.

The Mini Morimoto D2S works great, I just know it'd be better if I'd gone OEM.

Thats what I planned on getting. Side note, how is it on a 4th gen?
 
I think it works great, I actually used the retro-quik kit. But if you have '03-05 housings still I don't think it would be much more difficult.

The output is actually very nice, I've just read that the OEM stuff is much better.

It's still very wide and bright with a sharp cutoff. I think there are some pictures in my build thread and in a writeup thread I created... search "mini morimoto retro quik" here.

I'd like to do the retrofit myself. I just want to buy the morimoto projectors and if i can glean enough interest, I'll see if I can work out a deal with them.
 
As posted, the tw gb is a hell of a deal. Have a friend waiting to get her stuff. I would love to do the retro quik just for the bi xenon feature.

I would be interested. A local shop here in Orlando wants around 700 bucks to retro my stock housing to dual projectors with a black bezel.
 
Sweet this is awesome, I don't think the TR 400 has an M strike though. I tried to thread a swivel backdrop into my 42P astropump, and the damn thing broke off.

Sorry, I'm still confused. Does that price include the purchase of the projectors and HID kit or would you provide that?
 
I think that's a great price especially if by dual projector you actually mean four total projectors and not bi-xenon. Even if it was just a bi-xenon, that price is still in the ballpark of quotes I've see
