Any Long Island or NY Metro area 4Runners in here?

Hello All,

I live on Long Island -near Jones Beach- and I currently picked up a 2016 Trail, very happy with it.

BTW: Can anyone recommend a good dealer on the island -for routine service- that is 4Runner friendly/knowledgeable. ...A specific mechanic I should ask for? One that won't strip my front skid plate mounting bolts after an oil change?

Hard finding a good thorough mechanic -that cares just a little- these days.

I'm down for wheelin' but I've had some issues pile up over the winter that I need to fix first. Leaking windshield=rust-water behind the dash, leaking rear Diff & leaking oil filter housing. I also have sliders coming from BAMF! It's gonna be a busy Spring! LOL.

WE can definitely stick to greens and enjoy the outdoors its nice to come back in one piece lets all figuure it out . and go

No legal wheelin' in Harriman but Stokes St Forest in NJ is pretty close.

1+ for green roads, I don't think my rusty car can handle the deep-ends =|

There are a lot of nice hiking between yonkers and poughkeepsie just not sure how much of that is car friendly. Anyone know of anything? I know of some overlook spots for bbq's and meet up. Such as randals island /wards island.

We definately have to put together a meet and greet when the weather gets a little warmer. I wish their was more wheeling spots around. The jeep guys go up in the Ramapo mountains. Not really legal and a lot of rock climbing to get up their. Stokes sounds cool. Or we just get together somewhere and check out each other's rides.

for tundras i believe thats a bit much but plenty of places to drive it as well if they drive 35 inch 40 inch lifted trucks I don't think it would be a problem but as for the green trails there are exits you can take and veer off. or hang back,.or pop in another truck
