Any of You Guys Wear Kilts?

So I'm gonna preface this by saying I'm it Scottish or Irish. I bought a kilt a couple years ago for a Renaissance Festival near Austin. Sherwood Forest Faire is gonna be going on pretty soon so I'm dusting off the ol kilt for that. Just wondering if anyone wears a kilt on a regular basis. I was shopping at a Celtic store in Austin and it turns out a lot of guys wear modern kilts on a regular basis. Thought it'd be fair to talk about this here in the back alley that is the OT section...

My late brother used to wear a kilt fairly regularly. Partly a tribute to his Scots ancestry and, I think, partly because he liked being unconventional.

I have the bloodline and surname to pull it off legit, even a twinge of red in my beard, but I ain't about to wear no bloody kilt.

I never have, no. However I have heard that they make hiking kilts. That sounds like a pretty good way to reduce chaffing to me! I would give it a shot.
