any one repair the wires where they go through door into kick panel ??

whats the best way to go about this ? my master door switch no longer consistently controls my passenger side window. :frusty:

Depends how good are you at soldering. If fixed some without removing anything but the rubber grommet/ boot. Just cut the bad section of wire usually already cut from opening and closing the door. Solder and heat shrink the broken wire back together.

It sucks doing it but can be done. Other wise pull the door panel unplug all the wiring connectors pull the wire though the hole in the door may give you more slack to work with.

How sure are you it's not the switch itself? And should be only as hard as it is bad

I have tried several switches and when I play with the wires where they go through the door I can get the window to work
