Wondering if anybody have any recommendation of a shop or installer in socal fot my lift kit.. I got all parts just need labor. I would do it myself but dont wanna deal with compressing the front spring just to get the upper mount. Any info would be a great help..im in socal, 714 area.
Any so-cal lift installer recommendations?

Hey Tommy,
Just completed adding Bilstein shocks to my mild lift. You may want to try the "no spring compressor" method for the front shocks. It worked well for me and I'm an average mechanic. Very safe install and went pretty smoothly.
I'm in San Fernando Valley so could recommend a good shop out here. Doesn't specialize in lifts but good with suspension work. Not that close for you but let me know if you would like further details. good luck!

Host an suspension install party at your place or a friends house and get it knocked out while seeing and learning how easy it can be. With group of fellow enthusiast and make some new friends for the trails. Doubles as a meet n greet for others as well.

You could even have it at my house if you like, fully open garage space and all the tools needed for the job.
Plenty of space for all the rigs and people as I live on a small cul-de-sac street in country club I could BBQ it up in the front courtyard with plenty of tables and chairs.Great views all around and plenty of trails.
To top it off people can run trails literally in my backyard and front yard also allows others to see how other setups handle with some quick short trail runs without driving far or anywhere for that matter.
Once your suspension is in you can try it out on a trail along with everyone else to see how you like it assuming it doesnt fall apart...haha jk

I would recommend Demello Offroad in Corona. They just installed our ICON shocks, springs, and UCA on a KDSS TEP and everything came out perfect. They have plenty of experience with suspension installs on 4Runners and FJ's. We brought our own parts. I got there at 7:30am and it was done by 11:00. They will also get the alignment done. A bonus was getting to see all of their cool bumpers and sliders in person (plus the demo 4Runner). They also include a free re-torque and height adjustment.
