yes electronics can be a nightmare with any vehicle,
but I have to say, my swapped in elocker is one of the best investments I have made, and its wired direct , so its working in 2wd, 4wd high, or 4wd low and does not go through the computers, just a toggle on the dash when ever I want to use it.

i agree. The factory e-locker on mine is amazing. Probably one of the best features toyota could have added

Apparently I should have read the buyers guide to. lol
I really do like the simplicity of a j-shift non-driver assist vehicle. Now the big hurdle will be finding a Taco that meets those criteria. ANd yeah, it's pretty shitty I can't get a stick. Maybe I should just get a divorce. lol
Gotcha. So that's a no go huh. Damn. Looked like a nice one too, but i'm a beginner to these so cant really recognize a good deal just yet.
I'm located in socal, and so is the truck, so I don't think rust should be a huge issue. Yea, I've read the buyers guide which was extremely helpful. Its AWD and guy says it has no mechanical issues whatsoever. Just had new brakes and battery, and just passed smog.

Love my 01. Heated mirrors are a nice thing to have.
thanks for the input, guys. Body looks to be in immaculate shape. Almost too perfect actually. One of the pics looks like a stock photo from 2001 lol. Only concern I had was mechanical stuff since the miles are over 200k. But sounds like if everything runs ok, It's a good buy , especially if i can get him down to the mid 3k range.
And drink spillage all over the radio? :rain:
