Any suggestions on vent visors for a 2014?

hello all,
i just picked up a 2014 4runner and was trying to figure out what are the best vent visors on the market?

has anyone had any experience with these?

Low Profile 4pc-smoke

I had a set of in-channel weathertechs in my tundra, but i lost one out the back windows twice!

any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Did you read through those three threads posted above? I'm almost positive I read about someone's review of the stick on version in this forum within the last couple of months. Should I go grab a spoon instead? :sadwave:
 
Yes I did. And no one really gives a definitive answer for the ones I'm speaking of.... I do understand the "search" function and if I would have found the answer I would not have created a thread. Thanks though!

I'm curious why people are interested in these? To me at least, whenever I see a car with them, I just get the feeling that the owner was just looking for some cheap way to make their car look different. They remind me a bit of aftermarket tail lights.
 
Unlike aftermarket tail lights which I agree are crap, genuine oem window visors serve a function. They keep rain out while venting the interior. Handy in wet climates. Smokers like them too.

I actually like them on black cars as they blend much better.
 
I had a set of oems and weathertech on my tundra , both were in-channel..... And I lost one of the back visors from each set within 3 months.... That's why I was searching for info on stickons and to see if any improvement were made..... I know the stickons look like shite but I like rolling the back windows down every once in awhile
 
Just put mine on today

I've had vent visors on all my trucks and most cars for 20 years or more. They are great in rain and hot weather. These low profiles are a first and so far the only thing i dont like about them is not being able to get a rag under them when washing.

I had this exact model on my truck. The low profile look is nice, but it also creates a ton of wind noise, which was noticeable when the windows are down and up! I removed them after 1 week.

are those the avs low profiles?
 
I had the in-channel visors on my last three trucks and they never came loose. You just have to prep it correctly, make sure the channel is dry and leave your windows up for at least 24hrs in warm weather. One friend tried to put his on right after washing his truck and wondered why they never stuck....... :frusty:
