I've seen a few groups up that way, but I was hoping there were some a little closer south. I don't get up to Atlanta nearly as much as I'd like to! I guess I have an excuse now though!

For sure, man. Have you found many places in the area to go? About the only thing I've found (on paper) are the Apalachicola & Ocala National Forest as well as Hardrock in Ocala. There's also Possum Creek here locally, but from what I can tell, it's mostly mud pits.

Hard Rock in Ocala is worth the drive for sure. My brother and I mostly just drive dirt roads until we find a spot to explore. There are some spots around the river here in Thomasville, but nothing big.

I live in Athens and would love to hit some trails sometime. I just purchased an ICON lift when it gets here I will definitely put it to work. One of the service advisors at Heyward Allen Toyota in Athens has an FJ, really cool dude, whenever I get my rig in order he is going to take me out wheelin. Can't wait!
Do you actually know of anywhere to ride? I know theres an offroad park somewhere south of Athens, but I dont know much about it.
Also, How's the customer service at Heyward Allen? I need to get my new dash from the cracked dash recall.

You may be thinking about Durhamtown in Union Point, I have never been. A lot of my co-workers go out there to ride dirt bike and 4wheelers. I am not sure what kind of trails there are for actual vehicles though. That is about the only place I can think of. I know there are tons up in the mountains though, its not to far of a ride from Athens.
I have not had any issues as far as customer service goes from Heyward Allen. I would ask for Scott in the service department, he is a really good guy, he can hook you up.

The apalachicola national forest is the closest place to "wheel", but it's more trail riding than anything.
Are you going to be going to FSU?

Yeah, I'll be a sophomore but I've been abroad my whole freshman year so haven't been yet.
