I have a 98 limited 3.4 V6 and was curious to know if anyone has done or knows if it's possible to do a MAF sensor delete? Any info is greatly appreciated.

I want to remove it because I put a custom air intake in and it would just look a lot cleaner without the maf sensor

I thought the general consensus was that all aftermarket intakes result in zero gains and introduce more harmful media to the engine than the factory intake box?
Edit: When installed on 3rd gen 4runners.
Perfectly valid reason. Don't tell anyone, 99% of the reason I'm doing this swap is for the noise! How long have you had yours installed? But they sound so good, only reason I got one. LOL. Makes romping on the trail more fun.
This is cute.
