anyone buy a road hazard warranty??

Hello---

I am trying to decide between revos ($75 rebate) and Cross Terains for my 2001.

The local Firestone highly recommends buying a $60 road hazard warranty.

Personally I avoid all additional warranties on consumer goods but wanted to know if you all recommend it for tires. I live in cleveland and the roads here SUCK:bugeye:

Well, they wouldn't sell them if they didn't make money on them...

Seriously, how often have you had need for the RH warranty on the last several sets of tires you used? Personally, I can't remember the last time I needed a tire repaired on any of my cars. The $60 seems a little steep too - it would seem that you would need to get 4 flat tires in order to recoup the cost (not counting some disaster that would otherwise destroy the tire).

Just my opinion.
