Anyone buy used without seeing in person?

I bought my 2006 4runner with 60,000 without seeing it. It looked really clean and the owner said things I was looking to hear. I flew to see it and took a cashiers check for the amount -$2,000. I took the 2,000 cash so if things weren't really good we could work on the price there on the spot.

I was lucky. Everything was clean and checked out. I've been super happy and saved money even with the flight and drive back.

Well, it arrived and I could not be happier. The interior is like new and the exterior is almost like new. Everything is perfect and it rides and drives so nice. . . . .so happy with the decision.:banana:

Thats the one. Been lurking at their web site for a couple years, then I saw the 4 runner on ebay, with carfax, odometer disclosure, and some ebay garantee thingy. Then I flew down a big bald guy with a set of golf clubs to pick it up. All worked out good except for getting across the border which took a few more days.
