I’ve added a fair amount of weight and my front requires a lot of preload and the front nosedive is back. I’ve a set of 650lb springs I’d like to swap on.
Anyone do this themselves? I don’t think I can do this without spring compressors unlike the originals where you can use the “car jack” method and let the weight of the car do the work. That said, I’m wondering if I take out all of the preload if I can remove the lower spring seat and then slide the springs off.
There are not any good shops around here and I don’t feel like wasting 1/2 a day plus.

) don’t have kings but my fox2.5’s I can spin off all the preload and my springs are no longer under tension. I think it is safe to say, as long as it is the same length spring you should be able to do the same. Just remember to take pics and/or mark them so you can set your preload back the way they where.
