Had new pacesetters installed due to manifold cracked. Replaced all four sensors but every now and again ill still get the old code for manifold running below threshhold. Anyone know what else would throw the code?
i did a search and found several threads about this topic.
betch chasing a p0420 code too like me.
i just ordered my drivers side pacesetter from my parts distributor for $223. amazon says they out of stock for 1-2 months! they have it for 233 shipped.
Looks like tuesday or wednesday i will be installing my drivers side manifold.

Yes I am chasing that code. Even after doing the swap I've learned you can get this code by running an after market CA intake as well so I'm going to put my stock box back in and do a reset and hopefully that will clear this 420 spirit from the runnerI must say though I for I one am very happy with the sound and gain after the pacesetters and full on custom exhaust. The sound is amazing!
but you in cali, pacesetter should not be legal for cali smog. cali cars should have a exhaust gas temp sensor too...i might be wrong but i do remember seeing somewhere about a 49 state unit and a cali unit. might have been with magnaflow or something
