Anyone Else Waiting for Their New 4Runner

I feel you. Sorry I can't give a straight forward answer as I only work as a production associate selling parts to dealers.

I would just order the one you want. I know the wait sucks but I would think it's better than blindly going out and hoping for one.

Well folks I was informed today that my trail premium will be at the dealership on 8/22. They say give them a couple of days for accessory install. I glad there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Got a text from the Dealer today and they are saying the status has been updated to Ground and they are expecting delivery tomorrow! Im not gonna hold my breath but....:rockon:

With TTL and Ridged Running boards $43,495.

Our company doesn't handle northeast dealers but Trd pro accessories need to be installed. Though I'm not sure what the handling time is but keep your fingers crossed. What was the price on your Trd pro if you don't mind me asking?

Or perhaps leased and only taxed on down payment of $2500 (assuming 7% sales tax).

Found a dealership in Oakland, CA with no wait list. Placed my deposit end of June and was told the car will be here end of July. Well, the salesman didn't lie when he said it would be here but it wasn't what I expected. It's "here" but the TRD Pro package is being installed at the port of San Francisco... Another 2 weeks of waiting... Kill me.

Just got word today my Quicksand TRD Pro is in freight status. Will hopefully have a delivery date between August 18-22. The waiting is killing me.

Mine was delivered last wednesday, a little earlier than expected. Broken in properly three days later:

Hey all, first post since I dont even have mine yet. Ordered the Trail Premium in magnetic gray and I HATE this wait. Luckily I got this screenshot from the dealer but I dont want to bug him (or maybe I do once a week i mean its not like i'm not handing him $43k)

What is yalls opinion based on this and the fact i'm in VA.

Depends... I am assuming it's coming into the port of LAX (if the car is coming from Japan). Once it hits the port, it usually takes a day to fully unload a vessel (might be faster with cars since they roll out the back). Once unloaded, it needs to be brought to rail yard (1-4 days) depending on how fast they can get it dispatched from the port yard. If this is coming into LAX, it could take longer then 4 days because LAX is always backed up with cargo. The rail time itself shouldn't be longer then 1-3 days (as long is it coming from LAX). Then it usually takes 1-2 days to be unloaded and brought to the CFS (container freight service) terminal. From there the trucker will have to pick it up and bring it to the dealer (time can vary, as long as they got all the release paperwork then it shouldn't be too long). Once it leaves the terminal the transit shouldn't be longer than a day.

So in total I am assuming 10-15 days after arrival into port to get to the dealer. I work in logistics and deal with this shit all the time.
