Anyone got a pic of BFG KO2 275/70R17 on your 4R without lift?

Curious to hear how it goes. I have a 21 venture and notice that BFG doesn’t recommend the K02’s for the 4Runner. I was thinking of just going with stock sizing, 265. Cannot image I would have a problem with K02’s on a stock venture.

275 KO2s and the 265 Nittos were the ones recommended by the dealership for the two different size options.

If you're searching for the 275/70r17 size then that would make sense since it is not the OE size and they have to put that. If it says that for the OE size then that is a mistake from their end.

They say the same thing with the OE size too because it's got a lower load rating than the stock P265 tire. C load KO2 is 112 vs. stock 113. It's a CYA thing for them.

The verdict is in. 2021 4Runner SR5 stock suspension with 275/70/R17 on TRD Pro wheels. Zero rubbing with room to spare

Well, it is close to no lift. Has only the 1" Cornfed spacer. This is on my 19 Limited, off with the 20" for 17X9's and 275/70/17 BFG KO2s

Hey Sawman! Exactly what I was looking for! My 275/55/20 on OEM rims are on their way out and looking to replace rim/ tire combo this time around. I do have the 1" toytec spacer up front and looking at options. I've done the fender liner mod, mud flap delete.. Are you getting any rubbing with 275/70/17?

zero issues. It's actually better traction and feel when I drive. It looks amazing compared to stock nitto.

With the fender liner mod, no rubbing for me, but I have read otherwise from others on the forum.
I have since gone to 2" front / 1" rear lift/leveling and all good now.

Thanks for the reply! That’s with the fender liner mod and the 1” cornfed level out front? And yes, been reading the same mixed feedback hence more detailed research before I pull the trigger. Although it seems the guys who were having issues with rubbing were not running a level kit at all so I’m thinking i might give it a shot with my 1” level kit up front. Fingers crossed. Otherwise it’s Bilsteins up next for me!

I have about 2700 miles on mine and love the look. But I am tired of the weight and how twitchy/vague the steering feel on the highway. Curious how much better the 265 in c load range feel.

did you switch to the 265 C load? Im debating which one to go with, costco OTD with install for the 265 C is at $941.

Any issues with installation? I've heard some places not wanting to swap from 265 to a bigger tire since it's not "Stock". (Costco for sure, but also heard Tire Discounters has also done similar)?

Obviously I can call and ask, but it's nice to hear from others and be social, dangit.

Old post I know…but any wheel spacers here? Trying to gauge fender alignment with the 275’s but not as many pics from the front/backs. Thanks!
