Anyone Had a B&M 70264 Trans Cooler Fail?

My extra cooling 'tricks' were to follow the hayden 699 manual's suggestions - main one is mouning cooling up against AC on condensor makes it Most efffective.

That wasn't enough for me on repeated SG while towing about 2500lbs so I added a fan and use a 5 way relay (signal hot to ignition under hood via an add a fuse and constant hot to another unused 20+ amp underhood source).

That does the trick very well - I added an over ride switch inside cabin so I can turn fan off during winter or when not towing. Luck all.

What fan did you go with?

Did mount my new Hayden 699 with brackets. Curious to see how it does next time I’m hauling my boat.

Gap between cooler & AC condenser yea wait n see.

My boat not ready to tote, so no 100*F+ tows. Have my doubts.
Aluminum 3-row core radiator w/trans cooler, external cooler in series see what happens.
Next for me.

What? Both the B&M and now the Hayden have been mounted flush against the AC condenser.

What fan did you go with?

Nothing special for sure - just a $20 amazon find and a wiring light wiring kit using a 5 pin relay and dash over-ride switch.

About 225 degrees was the hottest it got after pulling the boat to the top of the mountain today. Hayden 699 in series after the radiator transmission cooler.
