Anyone have Michelin LTX M/S 2's, or Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza's? Pics?

I'm deciding between these two tires. Has anyone had both, or want to talk about either or that they've had?

Would also love to see some pics shined up.

i've had the michelins on my previous truck and liked them alot. the tread is kinda generic, but not horrible for a non-AT. they're super quiet and very durable. on the runner i went with the michelin AT2 - same compound as the MS2, but a bit more aggressive tread pattern. still very quiet and has a 60k mile warranty. if you want, i can try to post pics later tonight of the AT2's.

New MS/2. They replaced Michelin Cross-Terrains that were great for 70K but are no longer made in this size. These are just as good on the asphalt including in the rain and a few inches of snow. They have not been off-road yet.

I have had a set of M/S that I used till they wore out and now have M/S 2s. They last a long time, they are good for rain, snow, and minor off roading I have never truly been stuck. I still have about half of the tread left. Next tire change I will either get the same tires or maybe try out the michelin A/T's.

Btw I'm not new here I have been lurking about for about a year just mostly reading but I'm going to start up a build thread soon and start being active in conversations.

Just installed a set of Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza's on my Ltd. Had a pic on my phone for no reason and JUST DELETED IT ABOUT 5 MINUTES AGO.

I'll take another one tomorrow. Paid about $800 for the set at Discount Tire and am getting a $100 Amex card so will be $700 net.

I've always preferred Bridgestones, had a set of Dueler A/T Revo's on my Land Cruiser and loved them, have Bridgestone Potenza's on my Z. So yeah.

I used to own Bridgestone Dueler H/L tires on my 4Runner.

I bought them because the sales person told me that they would be quiet on the freeway, he implied that more aggressive tread would be loud.

They were great but I like my current ones better. I now have BFG AT/S 275x70xR16. They are also whisper quiet, even at 85 mph but they have a more aggressive tread.

Go BFG they are tried and tested!

Just drove 180 miles on the new Bridgestones, mostly interstate at 75, various conditions of the road surface (new & smooth, worn, scraped rough for resurfacing).... Very satisfied with the noise level, drove straight no matter the surface. My experience today.

Cool, thanks for all the posts guys! I will be pulling the trigger soon. It's either the MS/2's or the Dueler HL Alenza.... Looks wise, I like the more aggressive sidewall on the Dueler.

I've had LTX m/s on my personal trucks for the past decade and had Bridgestone H/Ts on my delivery truck. I've also done test rides with same on a road, then closed mud course (they had various treads, not just those two). Hands down the m/s.
I'm trying the LTX A/T this go-round (had them for a year now and they aren't bad, I'm just spoiled by the m/s), will be going either BFG A/T or more likely, the LTX m/s again.

I had to bump this on LTX M/S 2's. I've now had these for many years, and these made my truck ride INCREDIBLE after installed. This is because of the bigger sidewall, it soaks up bumps, and these tires are all one piece, not 2-3 piece that are glued together. They have a ton of flex and soak up the bumps. Keep in mine, even with 35 psi in these, the sidewalls look low still

Been running the M/S2s since I got the truck (PO had just replaced them). Great tires. Good grip on the highway, good grip in the desert sand/pokey AZ rocks. Only had 1 of them puncture and I plugged it and kept going.

Moving on to Duratracs after the Tundra/906 lift in the next couple weeks, though. I'm sure I'll miss the Michelins on the street.
