Anyone have truck-lite LED headlights? HIDs?

I've been wanting to do something different with my headlights, and have been reading up on these. Looking for input on those, or some of the, HID setups floating around the web.

I don't have these but I'm planning on using the truk-lites in my rig just can't afford just yet. My buddy runs the round version in that other kind of off road vehicle (j_ _ p).

I've got IPF H4 conversion buckets and 60/55w Phillips bulbs, no complaints and no conversion hassles.

I agree with you 100% I always say build it don't buy it. As for the LEDs. They say its like 50000 hrs. The thing I love is the no real amp draw. I had an 85 p/u that had all the kc lights and hella headlights and what not and I had to use a 200 amp alt just to keep it all going good. I now run led light bars and the volt gauge never even movies when I turn them on.

The reviews on the "four letter word " brand LEDs have been great. One stated he used to hate driving a night due to poor lighting, now he enjoys it.

The life should be many times greater than incandescent. Not sure if they are servicable though.

I do not think they are serviceable. I have held and inspected them and they don't appear to be and they are I on the pricey side.
