08 2wd v6 sr5 wth 180k just sold at dealer auction for $12,200. thats wholesale. retail will be 20-30% more than that. i'd put it at the $15k mark

$4850 actually sounds very generous for a 98. I sold my 99 4x4 SR5 with an E-locker for $5,000 in 2012. And that was after showing it to multiple people, that's the best offer I got. I was a little disappointed after seeing how sought after 3rd gens with lockers were.

It just goes to show you there is a big difference between what people say they want and what they will actually pay for.
