Anyone in Colorado

What is a good campsite in or near Colorado Springs. Preferably with running water (toilets that flush) and it needs to be in the mountains. Any campsite goes, as long as it is a good one.

these are a few that I googled. I live in Colorado Springs soooo we just camp for 2 days at a time in the National Forest and dont have to much of an issue with amenities such as toilet(thought we do need to shower good after, if we didnt bath in the stream).

This is pretty much never going to happen. By nature of "the mountains", it's next to impossible and financially crazy to run plumbing for toilets, sinks, showers through the rock. If you're up out of the lowlands and actually in the rocks, you have to expect outhouse style toilets, and if you're lucky, a water spigot.

I know allot of spots up north between Denver and the Wy state line but I am not too familiar with Colo. Springs area. As far as running toilets....either get yourself a bumper-dumper or stay at a hotel and go exploring all day.

Eleven Mile State Park. About 50 miles west of Co Springs. I go there all the time for the fishing. Will be there in ten days.
