Anyone in Middle Tennessee

Anybody landed on the dirt devil or whatever its called? Ive heard my local Jeep clubs talking about it, doesn't sound rough/hard at all. I had a buddy of mine do it and he said he never put his Jeep in 4wd. Im up for a ride on the "trail" though, sounds like it would be right up my alley and isn't far from me.
I think the dirt devil trail would be perfect for this. My T4R is stock as well and until I get sliders, I have no intention on taking it "really" off road. Plus I wouldn't mind bringing the family and having a nice relaxing drive as well (thats what my Jeep club calls the DD trail).

Checking back in!
I was able to get out this past Friday on the Dirt Devil and check out about a 40 mile section of it. Took probably 2 hours to cover that 40 miles with lots of stops for pics! My buddy tagged along in his 2WD F150 that gets stuck in just about anything and he had no problems with any of it. I never really needed to take my 5th Gen out of 2WD but did for some stuff that I made harder on purpose. It turned out to be mostly hard packed dirt roads, that dried out well even after all of the rain we have had, and also included a ton of creek crossings. I'd love to go check out more of the roads and see what they are like, but I already have a few favorites.
Here are a few pictures and a link to the album with the rest. I edited a few of the pictures but a lot of them I did not and only cropped them. Not the best pictures of my T4R because I had to give control of the camera over to my buddy but hey what can ya do.

I just sent the guy money via paypal and had the map in 2 days. No interaction at all. I'm free most of this week if you guys want to try and put something together.
I actually know where a stretch of some of those photos were taken. But, Im open to hitting the dirt devil if you guys want to get together. Im off work pretty much all next week/weekend if you guys want to get together.

Subscribed... My spring break is March 7-15 if someone wants to plan something. Me and my dad could possibly go (my 3rd gen and his 4th gen). I haven't been offroading before (except some mud/dirt roads and driving in fields lol) so I can't do anything crazy yet haha. We're in Wilson County btw.

I agree, we need to get together and do a day ride meet up. My 3rd gen needs a little work after my last trip, I know [MENTION=87436]ugamurph[/MENTION] rig is close to being back up and running he may be interested as well.

I've been wanting to go to Windrock, as someone local recommended it, but I have no idea what trails that a rig like mine could handle.

Windrock is a great park with tons of mild to moderate trails, they have a well laid out map "you have to buy it" of all the trails. They are trails though so you have to expect at least mild pin stripping etc. I've wheeled there a few times with stock Tacoma's and 4runners with no issues. You do have to buy a permit but it's worth it. I like to try and make at least two day trips up there because it's a pretty good drive for me. The local land cruiser club has there annual rally there you might want to check that out I know a lot of us will be there.
