Hey guys I am hoping to get my lift kit on this Saturday (4/18) with the help of Brique in Smyna and we're hoping for some more help if anyone is around. I'd really appreciate it if anyone is available to help, I'll bring the beer!

Turkey Bay this weekend

Y'all are invited to go out to LBL with me, my dad, and two other guys from the 3rd gen 4Runner Mafia this weekend. We're going to try and get out there around 10ish Saturday morning and ride into the late afternoon. Sometime (Late afternoon Saturday or Sunday morning), me and my dad will be mountain biking on the N/S trail and/or the Canal Loop. We're also going to be camping at Hillman Ferry in the primitive/ water only section. I'm posting this in a few other threads to spread the word. PM me or mention me in a post if you want to join!

[MENTION=97483]Chuckles89[/MENTION] Would this be trails a stock, aside from some good AT tires, 5th gen could handle?

And I love camping. Actually already have camping plans this weekend but could change em. Would MTB with you all too if I still had mine. Sold it last year or two years ago. Can't remember. Injured my IT Band and still haven't gotten it back to normal.

I have no idea! I have never been before. I'm just tagging along with two guys that go up there every weekend. They said that they usually pick a trail and go as far as they can and then turn around. I do know that they have trails you could run on, but I don't know about the ones they were planning on doing.

That sucks about biking. My dad pulled his MCL 2.5-3 years ago and still isn't as strong as he was before.
 
I'd love to go, [MENTION=97483]Chuckles89[/MENTION]. Unfortunately, My son has a baseball game Saturday in Franklin. I was hoping to get on the trail soon. But, it looks like it will be end of October before I can get out and play.

Same here. I just got my rear end fixed so I can drive it again. But I have to work this weekend and I currently don't have a way to safely carry a full size spare. I will be ready to ride by the end of Oct. for sure.

I will be installing my own lift on my 5th gen in a couple weeks. Still waiting on parts. What shops do you guys recommend on the south side of Nashville for alignments?
 
How far south? In Smyrna I took my truck to CarWise auto and was quite happy with them. Small shop that's always been honest with me.

Thanks [MENTION=100310]Brique[/MENTION] I'm in Nolensville so really anywhere between Brentwood, Franklin, Smyrna to Murfreesboro is easy enough for me to get to. Just wanna find someone that is familiar with lifted trucks instead of taking it to the likes of Firestone.
 
I took mine there after my lift and I use them as my day to day shop for any repairs I can't do myself.

You could also call essentially off-road. I don't know if they do alignments but they do everything 4wd related all the way up to full builds. They did the welding on my Stubbs sliders.

I'd love to go, but that's the same weekend as the STLCA annual ride/meeting at Adventure Off Road Park.

So I haven't been on here in a while, dealing with life but back on track and would like to go riding on the Dec 12th, I never been to Coppinger Cove and would like to check it out I have a buddy with a Jeep that wants to tag along also. I have never been there, is there an easy way to get there how is the trail for a TJ on 31's and my Runner on 33's with 3inch lift? Any advice or a trail guild would make for a good day. Anyone planning a trip there that weekend? Is it closed due to hunting season etc.....

Never been out there but just looked up some limited information on it and it sounds cool.

also here is a GPS track someone else did that might be helpful. has some pictures from along the ride so you might be able to gauge difficulty. Some of it looks gnarly.

Yep your runner will be fine, wish I was going to be able to make it but I will be out of town that weekend. STLCA will be doing their annual new years ride there if anyone cares to join, check out the thread in our clubhouse on ih8mud.
