Anyone ever been out to stewart state forest? Talked to a guy that works out there and he said they have great forest roads throughout and they are open to the public.

I’m up next time you go out. My schedule varies week to week but I usually know it up to 6 weeks in advance.

The most off road in I do right now is about 1/2 a mile of TVA owned land, that I'm pretty sure Im not supposed to be on, maybe once every 3months.
Be warned. If Its my 2nd gen. That thing is a bucket. Mechanically sound, just super ugly.

Check out Conder's Automotive in Mt Juliet. I'm friends with the owner. Does decent work.
If you look back on about 14-15 page of this thread. There's a lot of talk about Dirt Devil trail in around Franklin/Leiper's Fork area.

I live near Franklin / Leiper's Fork area and have driven the Dirt Devil many times.
It's not a "trail" per se but a route that takes you down a lot of old primitive roads, some gravel, some dirt, with water crossings. In a few places the road dumps into a creek and you drive 20-50 yards up the creek before picking up the road again on the other side.
It's a fun, easy bit of driving. If you go, be *SUPER* respectful of the fact that these creek crossings are often people's private property. Don't stray off the road. The locals have gotten mightily pissed off about it in years past, to the point that they were meeting some of the local Jeep clubs with hostility. Armed hostility.
I think it's cooled down a lot since then, though.
