Is Northern KY close enough? I wish we had the off road areas that the Colorado guys have here in the Tri-state!

yeah it really sucks, we dont have much here, on thing with in a couple hours any way of me is Yankee Lake, few nice trails, mud pits, rock climb, was there for the last 3 years with my 02 Tacoma, got bored with it, only thing that was fun to me was pulling out 3/4 domestics, out of frame deep mud, then tuning around and going through with no problems, other than that there is wellsville, hillsville, but too long of a drive, with a busy schedule, oh well guess ill just have to put in for more vacation time, lol

i'm in columbus. just got my t4r a couple of months ago and find any excuse i can to put it in 4wd! i dont know, i may have to move to wy or mt once i get it more trail ready. lol

yeah it seems as though winter is about the only chance i get anymore to drop it into 4wd, but i guess i will just have to keep going back to yankee lake, maybe it will be more difficult with a 4runner suv than a tacoma truck, we'll see what happens. I just hate going there anymore, bunch of drunk people just driving stuff they shouldn't be driving, like cars, 2wd trucks. oh well

I live just across the river from Ohio. I'm actually just 10 minutes away from Wellsville, Ohio. From what I've seen online, I feel pretty fortunate to have it so close by. Some claim that its one of the best places for off-roading in country. I'm going there later this morning with my 3 day old(to me anyway) stock urban runner. A friend with a stock wrangler is coming along.

There seems to be 100's of videos of this place on youtube, though I haven't seen anything that would be suitable for my stock ride. I'm hoping to find some suitable trails when we get there.

There are a few places down here! Black mountain in harlan county, Pickett state park, Monticello trails and more if you go to Tennessee
Is Harlan County near Cranks Creek, or is it just Harlan, Ky? I remember one or the other from when I used to go to Cranks Creek for mission trips when I was little. Remember there being a big lake we went to as well.

BTW- not in Ohio, but one state over in Indianapolis. Although, I'm tempted to to move to Wyoming, Arizona, Montana, Nevada, etc everytime I'm out that way for work....
