I have a 2009 4runner Trail Edition with 2012 4runner Trail Edition Wheels powder coated them matte black. Same as the FJC Cruiser wheels. They have a 15mm offset I believe. (stock 4th gen 4runner wheels have a 30mm offset).
I'm thinking about upsizing my tires to 285/70/17 (33"). I want to make sure I do not get any rubbing on the UCA's. I do not want to run spacers. I want to see if I need to get an aftermarket wheels or not before I spend the $1,200 on BFG KM2 tires. Some people claim they get rubbing at the UCA and some people do not. So I want to make sure before I spend money on the tires.
I was wondering if anyone local (North Orange County, fullerton, brea, anaheim area) with this size would let me borrow their spare wheel for a test-fit to see if they'll fit without rubbing on the UCA's. I don't intend to take it out for a drive, just want to put it on and test it lock to lock to give me a pretty good idea to give me the go ahead to purchase these tires. Will just take 20 minutes. I can even meet you somewhere if its convenient for you.
