Anyone Interested In My Manual '01?

People always say "let me know if you ever sell it!", but it seems like there is no follow-through if/when that time comes.
I'm not sure I can let it go- and my wife definitely isn't happy about the consideration- but I really want a- well, a certain something.
It's a 2001 SR5. 240k miles. Really clean inside and out.
-OEM sport hood
-Color matched front bumper with factory paint
-Color matched grille
-Color matched headlight housings
-Retrofitted headlights with NHK G5-EXL 3.2" projectors. NHK 5500k bulbs, Morimoto relay harness.
-Manual transmission swap with all new Aisin(OEM) clutch kit and hydraulics
-Manual front locking hubs with OEM axles/CVs
-Electric fail-prone brake booster swapped for diaphragm booster
-17x9 et0 Level 8 MK6 wheels
-315/70R17 BFG KO2 with lots of life left
-Eimkeith panhard brackets
-Plastics Guy bump stops front and rear
-'99 Tall coils on Tundra 5100 front
-Superflex rear coils with OEM Tokico shocks from a 2014 SR5
-Currently no rear bumper, and spare crossmember cut out in preparation for Ford tank.
-Timing belt, pulleys/bearings, water pump, lower ball joints, spark plugs, air filter all replaced with OEM at 222k miles.
Everything works, manual swap was done 100% complete with clutch start switch, cruise cancel switch, and clutch start cancel switch all installed like factory. Brand new OEM leather shift knob. AWD tcase retained.

I don't believe anyone will offer what it would take for me to give it up, but I wanted to throw it out there anyway.

This makes me sad.

I would be less sad if you sold me the projectors...and help me with my Ford tank sender

Beer the 27th?

rear tires wider track than front?

No. 315's all around. The rear track width is wider because my plan is to build +2 arms for the front, so I put 1.5" wheel spacers on the rear to simulate a wider axle- to see where the tires would sit in relation to my flares. If I put them on the front, it would have increased my scrub radius, and I wouldn't be able to turn [emoji23]

Haha I'm sure it's not going anywhere.

You wouldn't be sad once you saw what would be replacing it.
I'll build you a better set than mine.

I'll check my schedule. Okay, yes [emoji12]
I been debating about putting mine for sale.

Well mine actually hasn't had any problems at all, so I'm not selling it because I'm tired of fixing it [emoji854]
I joined since I am in the market. Lovely build... whats the magic number? You can PM if you'd like.

Thank you!

I'd have to get in the neighborhood of $10k.
I know my target crowd is pretty small for someone who wants what I've got/"built". A manual '01 with AWD is awesome to me, and they were never produced, so they have to be built.
That's honestly what it's worth to me, and value is based solely on what it's worth to any given person.
I've paid more for things than people say it's "worth", but it was "worth" that to me!

I cant believe you're still driving around without the trailer hitch. If someone rear ends you it's totaled. Fix that shit!

The bug eye's definitely reduce resale value! :first:

10K is a good # but 240k miles is a tough sell. I'd give you 8, fly there & drive it home.

This is totally worth $10k-ish. If I didn't already have one I would buy it.

It is squeaky clean (exact opposite of mine) and well maintained and pretty

You're tellin me! But you don't even wanna see it without the bumper and with the hitch

I'll throw some stocks on there for you, and drop the price $500 [emoji6] [MENTION=135317]rkntoy[/MENTION], the headlights are yours!

Yeah, I hear ya. That said, I think pretty(meaning beautiful, not "almost" ❤️) rust-free frames and engine bays are gonna be trumping lower mile rigs. What good is a low mile motor gonna you when the frame breaks in half?! [emoji23]
My axle seals aren't leaking- for what that's worth! Haha
I mean, there are zero oil leaks whatsoever, but the axle seals are the only thing I'm really watching for/expecting.

[MENTION=116470]Tyler James Inc[/MENTION] I hate you bro !!!! Lmfao just kidding. I guess you been following me lately

come to colorado and easy get 15k, dont listen to anyone who thinks its worth less then you want, there just trying to get a good deal, 240k is nothing on these things.

I did Not know this. So it's 'safe' with the hitch attached? Thanks. :cowboy:

Yes, the bumper is attached to the body & provides no protection. The hitch is bolted to the frame & is our only rear end protection.

I got rear ended in 2002, my hitch got a scratch & the Volvo's front end was demolished. LOL

I don't care who you are, 240,000 miles is a consideration even in a pristine vehicle.

I completely agree. There are MANY considerations when purchasing a vehicle. I've owned 25- give or take- vehicles since I've been driving, and none of them were bought to flip. Although mileage is a consideration, the condition of a vehicle says 100x more than the mileage does.
i'm more curious as to what's going to replace it, 5th gen trd pro?

It's not that I don't like them, they're just too much like a "car" vs "truck" to me. Far too trendy, and far too expensive for me. They also feel cheap to me inside. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't kick one outta bed!
Spill the beans nancy

Pretty much exactly the same thing as this, but with much easier to hack rear "quarters" for bigger tires [emoji23][emoji1598]

Just sayin. I'll trade you 50 drop in HID kits for your rig, right now, btw. Any bulb size, you name it.
